Gilman Scholarship: Essay Writing Workshop

This event is hosted with the Writing Center and will help you prepare to write your essays, make arguments, use active and meaningful verbs and actions, and more tips for writing the essays. The Gilman Scholarship aims to help undergraduates who have been under-represented in study abroad. This includes students with high financial need, students in under-represented fields such as the sciences and engineering, students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and students with disabilities, among others. To be eligible, students must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or during the time they are studying abroad.
