Guest artist recital: Quatra Duo

Quatra Duo, comprised of Jeff LaQuatra, guitar, and Michelle Stanley, flute, have been performing together since 1998. Through their performances, they have enjoyed presenting much of the great repertoire for this ensemble, but their most recent commitment lies in commissioning new works for flute and guitar, including Painted Music by Bryan Johanson, James McGuire's Suite for Flute and Guitar.

Quatra Duo has performed throughout the United States and in 2019, completed a six-concert tour throughout China. The duo has been invited to perform and teach at the Interharmony Music Festival in Italy and the Prague Multicultural Music Festival. Their recordings can be found on the Centaur and Parma labels.

Jeff and Michelle are professors of their respective instruments at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO
