Language Access in Federal Government - Director Civil Rights Office

Next Wednesday Nov 1, the Dept of Spanish Language, Literary and Cultural Studies and the Dept of Political Sciences will be hosting the Biden-Harris appointed Director for the Office of Civil Rights for the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Melanie Fontes Rainer, along with regional HHS Director Lily Griego. They will be speaking about social justice and language access in the context of the work of Health and Human Services.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration needed. CCOM 1700 at 2pm.
