Did you know that DU has 24 million dollars of its endowment invested in the fossil fuel industry? In celebration of Earth Day, and in recognition of the intersections between environmental justice, racial justice, and social justice more broadly, join Divest DU in partnership with other student organizations on campus for free food, community connection, fun activities, and environmental action at Reclaim Earth Day! This event will offer students an opportunity to learn about the 4D Demands: Divestment, Dissociation, Decarbonization, and Decolonization, by participating in climate-conscious activities, including an Earth Day photo booth, mural creation, protest sign painting, letter-writing, and trivia! Plus free food and yard games! Reclaim Earth Day is an equity-driven and nationally organized event, and we are excited to bring it to DU's campus. All students and current faculty are encouraged to join for whatever amount of time they can.
