Wood Shop Safety Orientation

Would you like access to a wood shop on campus? The Innovation Floor, a makerspace/innovation lab has a wood shop in the Metallurgy Building (room 28). It is open to all students, faculty, and staff at DU! To gain access to the new lab, every participant must complete the basic woods lab workshop. In the workshop, you will learn about safety procedures and demonstrate proficiency with the equipment. Participants must commit to the full workshop time and complete the pre and post exam to gain access to the facility during open hours. Please register with your @du.edu email address. Due to space constraints, the workshop is limited to the first 7 participants per session.

The workshop takes place in the northern most room of the Metallurgy Building (2450 S Gaylord Street (#28). Please enter from the North Door, which will be propped open.
