Startups often don't have a lot of money or time to gather new information (primary research). That's where secondary research comes in—it uses existing data, which is cost effective and helps startups in several ways:

1. Validate their business ideas and assess market demand.
2. Provide insights into customer needs and preferences.
3. Identify the most effective marketing channels, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.

In this workshop, you'll discover the secondary research resources available at DU and learn how to use and apply them to your business idea. This workshop is great for students working on product development, market strategies, pitching ideas, or taking courses like BUS1440 The Fourth Industrial Revolution and EVM 1100 Introduction to Entrepreneurship.
