2024 Crimson Classic 5k & 1.5 Mile Walk

The University of Denver's 12th Annual Crimson Classic 5K Run/1.5 Mile Walk will take place on Friday, October 18, 2024 on Carnegie Green Lawn at 3pm. Music, stretching, and snacks will start at 2:15pm.

The focus of the Crimson Classic is to celebrate wellness and to bring together our community. This is a free event! Please scroll down for the day's schedule. All participants who register will receive a 12th Annual Crimson Classic t-shirt. Let's kick off Homecoming weekend together.

Crimson Classic Schedule - October 18
1:00pm - On-site Run Registration, T-shirt Pick-up, Bib Pickup on Carnegie Green Lawn
1:00pm - 2:00pm - Vendors, Sponsors, and Department Table Set-up
2:00pm - Music, Games, and Vendors
2:30pm - 2:45pm - Guided Stretching
2:50pm - 3:00pm - Announcements 
3:00pm - Air Horn!! Run/Walk Begins!
3:00pm - 4:30pm - Racing, Mingling, Music, Vendor Interaction, Games Pre and Post Race

You MUST register and sign the digital waiver to run the race. Register by clicking "Sign Up" on the Run Sign Up Registration Website. It is free for all participants. During registration, you will be asked to sign a waiver. If you are joining the race day-of there will be paper waivers for you to sign at the registration table or a QR code for you to fill out registration via your phone. Race Results will be posted on Carnegie Green Lawn following the race.

We are providing a free 6-week running training program for Students, Faculty, and Staff.
