Flyer for Public Debate: Can You Separate the Art from the Artist?

Is an artist’s work separate from themselves? Does art gain meaning from its creator and societal context, or does it stand on its own? Join us this Thursday for a public forum debate exploring these questions and more!

Our public forum debates are non-competitive and open to everyone, regardless of public speaking experience. No trick questions—just thoughtful discussion in good faith. The debate lasts about an hour, beginning with a short introduction and a prepared speech, followed by audience participation. And yes, food is provided!
