Details
Join the Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging for a Lunch & Learn conversation with Jon Kraus, Director of Development, Gift Planning in University Advancement at DU, focused on the questions we should be asking ourselves early as we think about estate planning and aging well. Drawing from his experience helping individuals approach philanthropy in thoughtful and transformative ways, Jon will explore how proactive conversations can help families avoid crisis-driven decisions later in life.
Jon will also be joined by DU alumni Peter and Jenna Merlin, who will share their personal journey of beginning these conversations around their own dinner table, shaped by experiences with their parents’ cognitive decline and a desire to communicate clearly with each other and their children. This session will emphasize where to start, how to talk about difficult topics, and why open communication is one of the most powerful tools we have for healthy aging.
