Details

This hands-on 90-minute workshop will introduce students to the process of using video as a communication tool. Students will learn the fundamentals of how to conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit a short video project. Emphasis will be placed on the preproduction, production and postproduction process. Students will be introduced to Daniels Media Studio and other resources to help enhance class video assignments.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this workshop, students will be able to:
Understand the elements of storytelling and how they apply to video.
Develop a simple concept in writing and developing a script and storyboard.
Use basic video production techniques (framing, lighting, sound).
Apply editing fundamentals to shape a coherent story.
