Learn how to paint miniature model! No experience needed; this workshop is for anyone, from seasoned painters to people who have never touched a brush in their life. Start with a primed mini, then learn how to apply basecoats, what brushes to use, how to create effects, hand brushing vs. airbrushing, dry brushing and common mistakes, and detail work. You will learn how to make the tiny details on your mini pop, why the starting color (primer/basecoat) matters, and the differences between the tiny brushes used for painting miniatures (they really are small). Participants will walk away with a painted miniature figurine of their own creation, with the skills to re-create their work on models they can print on the Innovation Lab’s 3d printers.
