Join the Scrivner Institute of Public Policy, the Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship & Learning (CCESL), and the Denver Inter Neighborhood Cooperation (DenverINC) for a documentary screening of Join or Die. Based on social scientist Robert Putnam’s research on the decline in American community life and its impact on our democracy, Join or Die explores how civic engagement is at the core of American culture, development, and democracy. In addition to the screening, explore ways to create impact and promote civic engagement in your own communities in conversation with community-engaged faculty, staff, and DenverINC leadership.
