Join us for the third event of the Dean's Speaker Series, featuring panelists Alice Albright and Enoh Ebong. Dean Fritz Mayer and the panelists wills sit down for a panel discussion that will engage thought leaders with diverse perspectives on how we can shape a new era in development that responds to past critiques and takes into consideration rapidly evolving political dynamics and technological advances.

Alice P. Albright is a global leader in international development and finance, with experience spanning public policy, investment, and multilateral partnerships. She served as CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and previously led the Global Partnership for Education, where she helped expand access to education and mobilize investment in developing countries.
Ms. Albright has more than 30 years of international experience in the private, non-profit and public sectors. Ms. Albright served as the CEO of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). As a political appointee of the Obama Administration, between 2009 and 2013, she was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank). Beforehand, she was the Chief Financial and Investment Officer for the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (GAVI). Prior to working in international development and government, Ms. Albright was a banker focusing on emerging markets, working principally at J.P. Morgan.
Ms. Albright has served on two G7 Gender Equality Advisory Councils, appointed first by the President of France for the 2019 G7 and subsequently by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for the 2021 G7. Additionally, she has served on the Boards of Williams College and Mercersburg Academy.
Ms. Albright received her MIA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and her BA from Williams College. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Enoh Ebong

Enoh T. Ebong is president of the Global Development Department at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She leads a multidisciplinary team comprised of resident staff and an extensive network of non-resident affiliates focused on advancing U.S. national security and global stability through policies that promote human well-being and economic opportunity.
Prior to joining CSIS, Ebong served as the presidentially appointed and Senate-confirmed director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), a federal agency that partners with the U.S. private sector to develop sustainable infrastructure in emerging economies while supporting job creation in the United States. In that role, she led the agency’s global infrastructure development efforts across the energy, transportation, digital, and healthcare sectors, representing the United States in high-level engagements with foreign governments, multilateral institutions, and the private sector. She expanded the agency’s global reach, overseeing its leadership role in major initiatives, including the Pacific Islands Infrastructure Initiative, the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework Project Preparation Facility, the Digital Transformation with Africa Initiative, and the Lobito Rail Corridor project. She began her public service career at USTDA and advanced through several roles, including general counsel, deputy director and chief operating officer, and acting director.
Ebong’s professional experience includes the nonprofit sector, where she led efforts to build strategic partnerships at the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream. She began her career as an attorney in the Boston office of Mintz Levin representing public and private companies in offerings, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance issues.
During her tenure as USTDA’s director, she served as President Biden’s federal government designee on the board of trustees of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and chaired the Finance and Investment Committee. She also has served on the boards of the Friends of the National Zoo and the Washington Foreign Law Society.
She holds a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, an MA from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA, with honors, from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
