When our favorite generative AI agents burst onto the scene promising to save us time in research, they took something from us too—our credibility. In worst case scenarios, lawyers have lost their credentials to hallucinated sources, and students have been found out and told to remediate assignments.

What if we could figure out which academic sources in your chats are real at a glance? With LibKey Nomad, you can! In this hour-long workshop, you will learn how to use bibliographic information to search for full-text as well as how to download the browser extension LibKey Nomad which links everything back to DU Libraries’ resources. One library tool and one good habit will give you access to full-text and the reassurance that your sources are legit.

Note: This workshop is being offered three times this quarter--twice online via Zoom and once in-person.
