This workshop has been canceled due to unforeseen issues. Please follow University Libraries on Crimson Connect for this and future workshops.

AI is everywhere. But WHY? And when will you ever have time to go through ALL those steps to ensure you are excluded from its training data? In this interactive 30-minute long session, we will discuss digital privacy and walk through steps to disable AI training and summaries where we can, on Instagram and on some Google products. For our remaining time, we will also crowd source other ways we can opt out where we can. Bring your phones and your laptops and be prepared to take back what little privacy you’re able.

*Apps are constantly updating. While this session cannot possibly have all the answers, at least you can put aside time to follow steps to toggle off AI training on your personal apps where you can.

Note: This workshop is offered twice this quarter--once online through Zoom and once in-person.
