Mental Health Awareness Week at the University of Denver is an annual event designed to raise awareness of mental health issues and resources and decrease stigma related to mental health. This week is in conjunction with national Mental Health Month, which aims to eradicate mental health stigma across the nation and increase accessibility to mental health resources.

Health Promotion works with campus and community partners during this week to provide educational programming and outreach for students, as well as the greater DU community. We recognize that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals and communities are experiencing significant challenges that have a great impact on mental health. While we are unable to provide in-person activities due to physical distancing guidelines, we encourage you to participate in our virtual Mental Health Awareness Week events and learn about useful resources at du.edu/thrive or by following @ThriveatDU on Instagram.
