Mission
Our mission African Students United is to create a space to celebrate educate, and participate in the understanding of the many rich, diverse cultures of Africa. Through African cultural events, it will introduce multiple features of African food, dance, music, etc. This organization's purpose is to serve African students and its allies at the University of Denver to create an inclusive institution. We plan to make an impact on the outside African community through service projects, community outreach, etc. We would also like to encourage college seeking African students to seriously consider making DU their new home. This would help DU create a space where cultural diversity is present on campus. African Students United ultimately aims to make this a celebrated and appreciated identity on campus.

Membership Benefits
Members of ASU will receive benefits like: having better access to the African community, gaining more knowledge on Africa and its many cultures, also, knowing when our and what our weekly meetings are going to be about, getting more details about our large events ahead of time and even the ability to win free ASU merchandise!
