RMJHS on the Road: Historic Jewish Leadville

This year, the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society is taking its Annual Meeting on the road! Join us for a day in the mountains as we explore the fascinating history of Leadville, Colorado. We'll visit the Temple Israel Museum and learn about its history and restoration, and take a walking tour of the one of Colorado’s oldest Jewish communities and the highest incorporated town in North America with local expert and tour guide Bill Korn. 


Travel with RMJHS by bus from Denver or plan your own transportation and meet us in Leadville!

A charter bus will be leaving from BMH-BJ parking lot at 8:00 AM, returning at c. 6:00 PM.
The Leadville program will start at 10:30 AM at the Temple Israel Museum.

Cost of Leadville program including bus from/to Denver: $50/person 
Cost of Leadville program only: $18/person

10:30AM-12:00PM | Tour of Temple Israel Museum with Bill Korn
12:00-1:00PM | Picnic lunch (pack your own!)
1:00-2:00PM | Walking tour of Hebrew cemetery
2:00-2:15PM | Snack break
2:30-3:30PM | Walking tour of historic Leadville

3:30-3:45PM | Board bus for return to Denver
c. 6:00PM | Arrive at BMH-BJ
