Details

Join the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society as we explore the many layers of New Mexico’s rich history and culture and discover fascinating stories of Jewish life at the intersection of cultures in the Southwest.

This year’s RMJHS On the Road program takes us to the Land of Enchantment from November 8-11, with stops in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Los Alamos. Over four days we’ll visit museums and historic sites, enjoy walking tours with expert guides and hear from special guest speakers with a passion for New Mexico’s Jewish past and present, a narrative that stretches from the Spanish Inquisition to the Atomic Age and beyond.

Trace the Santa Fe Trail and iconic Route 66, immerse yourself in the historic ambience of Old Town Albuquerque and the Plaza in Santa Fe, and ponder the legacy of the Manhattan Project in Los Alamos. This is an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!

Note that the program includes walking tours and suggested walking between destinations of distances less than a mile.

PROGRAM START/END
The program begins at 12:00 PM on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Hotel Albuquerque Old Town, and will conclude at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Albuquerque International Sunport.
