Details

This event is specifically for identity-based student organizations. Registered student organizations who attend the networking event and a preparation session will receive a portion of the funds generated from the employer registration fees (deposited to your organization's university-designated accounts).

At the Diversity Connections Networking event, you are given the opportunity to interact with employers with diversity recruiting initiatives, employers who are interested in speaking to you specifically. Employers are vetted by DU Career & Professional Development staff to ensure quality and alignment. This dedicated time and space allows you to:

  • Explore internship or full-time opportunities for yourself.
  • Communicate the needs of your student organization.
  • Learn about employer diversity initiatives and how these organizations support diverse employee populations.
  • Invite employer partnerships for your student organization. Benefits of employer partnerships could include:
    • monetary donations,
    • scholarships,
    • event sponsorships,
    • swag donations,
    • mentors,
    • site visits.
