Student Employment Job Fair - Fall 2021

The Burwell Center for Career Achievement, Room 340 (2190 E. Asbury St.)

Join us at our first ever in-person student employment job fair! During this event, students will be able to meet with on-campus employers looking for talented future team members across all majors.

This event is open to all students:

• Undergraduates and graduate students;
• With and without work-study awards; and
• International students, U.S. citizens, Legal Permanent Residents, DACA recipients, and everyone else with U.S. work authorization!

Are you looking to gain professional skills, connect with the DU community, and earn money to support your financial needs? Then this event is for you!

• Students from all majors and degree levels are invited to attend the Student Employment Job Fair, where you will have the opportunity to network with DU employers and learn about currently open and upcoming job opportunities on campus. To attend, please register in PCO. Registration shows the employers the variety of students attending, so be sure to register today!
• You're encouraged to attend for any portion of the fair that you are able to. Employers are available to speak with you throughout the event - so even if you only have a short break between commitments, it's worth stopping by! 
• In addition to the fair itself, we will have a Quiet Room (3rd Floor) available to all participants for breathing, taking a break, and engaging in self-care.

Important Details:

This event will be held on the third floor of the Burwell Center for Career Engagement, which is accessible by stairs and an elevator. The Burwell Center includes all-gender bathrooms on the second floor.

All participants must follow the University of Denver COVID-19 protocols and all guidance contained on the COVID-19 website while on campus, including filling out daily symptom monitoring for not fully vaccinated 87# holders or completing the visitor symptom survey within 12 hours prior to arrival.

We encourage unvaccinated and not fully vaccinated attendees to

• Refrain from mixing and mingling with others not in their household during events as much as possible.
• Maintain at least 6 feet of physical distancing from others as much as possible.
• Wear masks in any indoor space where people from multiple households are present.
• Stay home and self-quarantine if you have been in close contact with a person suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 (within 6 feet for at least 10 minutes) to stay home and self-quarantine.
• Consider additional protections or staying home if you are at higher risk of severe COVID-19. g. Encourage frequent handwashing.

We encourage all attendees to wash their hands frequently and we require all attendees to stay home if sick or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.
