Profiles of Excellence

The Division of Community Support & Engagement (CSE) invites you to join us for an evening to honor our DU Graduates who have been involved in and contributed to community building and support efforts in their time at DU.

Profiles of Excellence is a celebration for graduating undergraduate students at the University of Denver who have been involved in and/or contributed to community building and support efforts in their time at DU.  This event has been a cornerstone at DU and serves to honor students who, in their time at DU, have worked to build and create a university that is community-centered and supportive for all students. These efforts exemplify the values of CSE and draw us together as a community focused on collaboration, care, and inclusion. 

Connect
To connect is to build meaningful relationships across differences, linking people, ideas, and resources in ways that strengthen the DU community. Through connection, individuals feel supported, included, and positioned to grow.

Belong
To belong is to feel rooted in a community through relationships, shared experiences, and moments that affirm one’s value. Belonging emerges when programs, events, and conversations create space for people to be seen and to participate fully in campus life.

Thrive
To thrive is to live fully and with dignity in a community that recognizes and honors one’s whole self. Thriving reflects the culmination of connection and belonging, where individuals are empowered, supported, and able to contribute meaningfully to the university.
 

Graduating undergraduate students who, in their time at DU, have worked to embed and embody these values are invited to register for participation in Profiles of Excellence.
