Tired of talking about the problems? This is your chance to do something about them. This 4-hour, campus-wide challenge invites DU students to move beyond complaints and rethink how we approach sustainability. It’s time to challenge how you think about systems, resource use, and what real, lasting change looks like.

Identify real issues—like waste, inefficiencies, overconsumption, or the lack of intentional, mindful use of resources—and work in teams to uncover root causes and propose innovative, long-term solutions.

Ready to jump in? Sign up solo or with a team — solo participants will be matched up so no one competes alone! Teams will include 2–5 students.

Registration opens May 5 and will close once we hit 12 teams — don’t wait to claim your spot.

You’ll have 2.5 hours to tackle the challenge, with the case revealed live at the event.

Afterward, teams will pitch their problem and solution to judges.

$6,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs!
Including $2,000 each for winners in three surprise categories.
