Resources, events & programs for navigating the recent events in our nation
Community + Values knows that tomorrow is a critical day for our country. After the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, we recognize that people across the country are feeling deep pain, fear, and shock. This violence has shaken so many. We know that many are looking for support and spaces to talk with one another about these events. Therefore, in order to serve the community and help each other feel connected during these challenging times, C+V has compiled a list of programs, events, and resources available to the DU community through the efforts of so many.
This list is meant to be focused on wellness and how the DU community can engage in conversations and dialogue through a variety of different viewpoints, perspectives, and political activities. We hope this list serves as a starting point for connection, conversation, and support.
This page will continually be updated as more information becomes available on events, programs, and resources. We have attempted to gather information on all available resources and events at DU, but if there is something you would like to add to this web page, please email us at CommunityPlusValues@du.edu.
Additionally, please be on the lookout for upcoming information on community spaces that will be held over the coming weeks for time to debrief as DU community members.
