Mission
The DU Film Production Club will be a student run organization for aspiring filmmakers. Our goal is to write, shoot, edit, and screen original short films. Members of the DUFPC will work as a community on various short film projects. While Juniors and Seniors have access to film production classes, DU underclassmen have no place to meet and create with fellow aspiring filmmakers. This club will provide all DU students with the opportunity to work on real films with peers. By cultivating necessary filmmaking skills like writing a script, editing a clip, and working with a team, DUFPC members will be well prepared for their coursework as film majors. The DUFPC has the potential to spark some serious interest in the DU film program, as the club is open to any DU student with any major.

Membership Benefits
Club members get the opportunity to work on independent short films multiple times throughout the year. They get to navigate learning film production through hands on workshops with faculty of the MFJS departments and students/eboard members. They also get to attend screenings, have movie nights, showcases, and an OSCARs party.
