Drawing from their work with hundreds of families, they will explore how to embrace change while maintaining a strong focus on personal independence and overall well-being. Elder care Manager
Aging at 5280
My background in healthcare is varied, which better enables me to understand the different aspects of aging. I have worked as a social worker in skilled nursing communities where I assessed and advocated for the needs of the residents. I became a case manager in which I would establish the discharge plan for those who came in for rehabilitation. I then moved into the admissions role where I would facilitate admissions from the hospital, providing comfort to the patients and family members. This led me to marketing for home health, where I developed my understanding for resources available to elders in their homes as well as senior communities.
Today, my mission with Aging at 5280 is to use this experience to help elders and their family members navigate through the healthcare system and customize a plan to meet their needs. I understand that acknowledging the need for help can be difficult. Researching resources can be overwhelming and leave you with a feeling of not knowing where to begin. Having someone there to help makes all the difference in the world. I am here for you.
