Hey everyone, happy end of week 5!!
I hope that everyone is surviving midterms and enjoying the lovely spring weather. We have two awesome upcoming math club events that we would love to see all of you at!
First, THIS TUESDAY, February 11th, from 6-7:30pm in ECS 201, Dr. Nick Ormes is hosting a trivia night! This event will have a wide variety of fun categories (not necessarily math related), and pizza will be provided. It is meant to be a fun way to get to know people involved in STEM fields, and all are welcome.
Next, on Friday, February 21st, from 1-3pm, AWM and Math Club are hosting an EvenQuads game afternoon in CMK 207. Pizza will also be provided at this event. This game afternoon is meant to honor notable women in mathematics, and we will teach everyone the rules of the different quad collector games and then play a few rounds. It is a great opportunity to de-stress in week 6 while learning about the accomplishments of women in mathematics.
Don't forget to register for these events on Crimson Connect. We are looking forward to seeing you all.
