The Office of Student Engagement is pleased to host the virtual workshop, "Citizen Leadership and Global Stewardship," on Thursday, May 7th at 1-2:15pm on Zoom as part of a pilot Leadership Workshop Series this Spring Quarter. As part of the Developing Leadership Track, this workshop is free and open to all DU students, but geared toward students who currently identify as leaders.
As a member of any organization or group you have ability to get information, take part in decisions, and make things happen. Participants who attend Citizen Leadership and Global Stewardship will gain further understanding of citizen leadership and how you can effect change in your communities. In this session we will look at community engagement at the university-, local-, national-, and global-scale and strategies and tools for encouraging public participation.
Students who actively participate in the OSE Leadership Workshop Series this Spring Quarter will be recognized for their participation in the Fall Quarter.
