DU's Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Institute is a one-day faculty development event. COIL is a type of virtual exchange, where students from DU and a partner institution engage in purposeful interaction for global and intercultural learning through the discipline(s) in a jointly taught module through infusing content into existing courses or creating a new course. This institute is a collaboration between the Offices of Internationalization and Teaching and Learning designed to support faculty in understanding and applying the principles of this approach. The content will focus on helping participants complete the COIL course proposal application for submission to the Internationalization Council for approval and funding. Priority will be given to DU participants who already have an identified partner and specific course and term. Reach out to casey.dinger@du.edu for questions.
