This Project Management course is the second in a series of professional development programs offered by SOCA throughout March and April facilitated by experts in their fields. Accepting this calendar invite does not count as registration. Please register using the link and instructions below.
This interactive training will help you recognize and formalize the project management work you're already doing—even if you've never called it that. Whether you're managing multiple priorities on a small team, working independently, or doing more with less, you'll learn how to structure your work using fundamental project management principles and methodologies. We'll cover how to distinguish projects from tasks, build effective project plans, and gain leadership buy-in for this strategic approach to work. Participants will leave with practical templates and resources to immediately apply these transferable skills, enhancing both your effectiveness at DU and your professional leadership toolkit for the future.

Materials: All materials for session will be provided during course. No previous training in Project Management necessary.
