This one-day, dine and learn for undergraduate students, will help them explore self-care practices that boost emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence (EI) consists of self-awareness, self-management, social management and relationship management. Implicit in the concept is that intrapersonal awareness and mastery precede service, empathy and connection to others. Self-care is a prerequisite to achievement and interpersonal success.
This training is facilitated by a Student Success Coach, Ben Marks. Ben is a first-year graduate student in the Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) at DU with a concentration in Mental Health.
