Play is a temporary world where we can exercise our courage and resilience in a safe environment, build the muscle, then pull from our practice when things get hard. This 90-minute session will be facilitated by Mia Sundstrom.

Mia is a two-time DU graduate (BSBA ’21, MPP ’23), currently serving as assistant coach for the Denver Gymnastics team and working part-time in the Office of the Chancellor as the project manager for the character dimension. Mia has researched, developed, and facilitated character workshops for students at the KMC, the DU Board of Trustees, the Chancellor’s cabinet, and faculty and staff. During her time as a student at DU, Mia served as the president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and a team captain for the gymnastics team.

This in-person event will not be recorded. It is part of a six-session workshop series, but we encourage you to attend at least one session even if you cannot join the full series.
