The Divisions of Human Resources & Inclusive Community (HRIC) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) host trainings to prepare hiring managers and search committee members across campus. Each training includes two sessions, with the purpose of providing specific and in-depth support for the various individuals that engage in the search process.

Session 1: Jobs@DU and PageUp:

This session is designed for hiring managers, search committee members, administrative support staff, and business officers who play a critical role in supporting search processes through DU’s hiring platform, PageUp (Jobs@DU). Talent Acquisition will guide participants through the intricacies of PageUp, ensuring they are equipped to create a welcoming and comprehensive candidate experience. The session will cover essential administrative tasks involved in the hiring process, including how to effectively use the platform to streamline searches, manage candidate communications, and troubleshoot common issues. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to leverage PageUp to enhance both the efficiency of their search processes and the overall candidate experience.

Session 2: Creating an inclusive and Equitable Search Process:

This session is for all members of a search committee, including the hiring manager, search chair, and search committee members.  In this session DEI will provide information on the impacts of bias in the search process, as well as best practices for bias mitigation, and creating a successful search team.

Depending on your role in your upcoming search process you will join us for either one or both sessions.
