The 4D Experience empowers students to lead lives of meaning and purpose that serve
the public good, enabling them to thrive at and beyond the university.

We seek to achieve this mission through fostering an institutional culture and inclusive
community that collectively promotes and integrates the four dimensions of advancing
intellectual growth, exploring character, promoting well-being, and pursuing careers and lives
of purpose.
The four dimensions serve as the trail markers on students' educational
journeys, not only instilling the understanding and frameworks to navigate their

Our mission African Students United is to create a space to celebrate educate, and participate in the understanding of the many rich, diverse cultures of Africa. Through African cultural events, it will introduce multiple features of African food, dance, music, etc. This organization's purpose is to serve African students and its allies at the University of Denver to create an inclusive institution. We plan to make an impact on the outside African community through service projects, community outreach, etc. We would also like to encourage college seeking African students to seriously consider making DU their new home. This would help DU create a space where cultural diversity is present on campus. African Students United ultimately aims to make this a celebrated and appreciated identity on campus.

The Alexander Hamilton Society at DU engages the student body on national security issues related to foreign and defense polices. Moreover, AHS exists as a pipeline and network to careers in this field. We meet every other Wednesday for a roundtable discussion on current events.

Alpha Phi Omega, Alpha Eta Iota Chapter, at the University of Denver is a national co-ed service fraternity organized to provide community service, leadership development, and social opportunities for college students. Since 1925 nearly 500,000 members on more than 375 campus provide more service on more campuses than any other collegiate service organization. Alpha Eta Iota chapter has been aiding in this service since chartering on the University of Denver campus in 2013. You are able to be a member of Alpha Phi Omega as well as be a member of other social Greek organizations. The mission of the University of Denver Alpine Club (DUAC) is to make outdoor adventure available to all University of Denver students, regardless of ability and/or previous outdoor experience. Through outdoor adventures, the DUAC acts as a gateway for learning about leadership skills, community, and the environment. DUAC is also a mechanism by which skills can be obtained in all areas of the outdoors, adventure, safety, guiding, or simply living and playing outside.

The DU AISES chapter is called DU American Indian Science and Engineering Society will serve as the only multicultural STEM student organizationgroup focused on closing the gaps for American Indian and Indigenous student in STEM fields. This program has an annual conference and has AISES chapters located in over 189 Tribal college and mainstream university. The representation of Native Americans in the STEM fields is less than 1%. AISES will provide peer support, career guidance and opportunities for student such as internships and programming. AISES also provides academic and cultural and social support to students who are involved and interested in STEM across in Indian Country. And ways STEM can help our Native American communities. We also do a STEM programs for the Denver Indian Community doing various labs such Star Knowledge and Navajo Ruggeometry for K-12 Native American Indian Ed programs in the local area.

The Center for Judaic Studies encourages cultural understanding through interdisciplinary studies and research in Jewish languages, philosophy, religion, history, literature, and film. CJS offers academic studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our faculty and staff feature top-tier teachers, authors, and professionals committed to fostering global Jewish culture in Denver and throughout Colorado. The Center invites esteemed scholars, religious leaders, Holocaust survivors, and creative artists to share their insight with our students and community. Beyond campus, we engage lifelong learners through diverse programming and social action initiatives. CJS serves as the home for the Holocaust Awareness Institute’s Survival & Witness platform, the premier educational resource supporting the State of Colorado’s mandate for Holocaust and genocide education in public schools. CJS also houses the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society (RMJHS) and the Ira M. and Peryle Hayutin Beck Memorial Archives, which together document and promote the legacy of Jewish life along the Front Range.

Available to undergraduate students hoping to add an exploration of Jewish history and culture to their main degree program, the minor in Judaic studies can help broaden your perspective and connect your passions to a wider world.

Graduate students pursuing the master's in religious studies or philosophy can supplement their work with high-level courses in Judaic studies. Likewise, students in the University's PhD programs can work with advisors to integrate Judaic Studies coursework into their doctoral program.

A new and exciting resource for our collegiate and alumnae members is ChiO&Co, a platform designed to COnnect Sisters by shared interests and celebrate the achievements of our accomplished alumnae.
Through ChiO&Co, members can participate in The Pearl Program, a mentorship initiative that pairs COllegians and young alumnae seeking professional growth with experienced alumnae in similar fields.
ChiO&Co also features a growing hub of career opportunities, through which many of our Sisters have found meaningful employment.

Leadership Development

Our leadership initiatives are designed to inspire growth and strengthen our Sisterhood, most notably through Firesides Leadership Training and the Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute of Chi Omega.
Firesides Leadership Training is the Fraternity’s annual leadership conference designed to equip chapter officers with practical tools and strategies to excel in their individual roles while improving the membership experience within their chapter and our Fraternity.
The Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute is a distinguished program that provides leadership training and education for women to foster personal growth and to prepare them to serve the world.

Inclusion and Belonging
Our Sisterhood goes far beyond policy and procedures; we encourage genuine relationships and meaningful support as well. From the moment a woman joins Chi Omega, she is enveloped with open arms, and that community lasts throughout college and well beyond.
During weekly chapter meetings, Sisters engage in small group discussions that foster authentic connections while addressing topics and challenges relevant to today’s collegiate women.
We are also deeply committed to the well-being and inclusion of every member. Chi Omega provides each member access to mental health resources and each chapter has a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Chair, who ensures women feel safe, supported, and truly at home within Chi Omega.

What is the return on investment for sorority life now?
Sorority membership provides an opportunity for members to reach their fullest potentials and gain access to a supportive network of women that will help them grow far beyond their college days. Membership in fraternal organizations has been linked to higher well-being for college graduates

FORMAT:
Club Tennis is one team made up of all our members. Within the team, there are two participation options based on the level of competition and dues:
Competitive Team: Travels and competes in tournaments throughout the year
Recreational Team: Joins the full team for practices but does not travel for tournaments
Both groups practice together and are equally part of the team. The distinction exists only because dues differ depending on participation level.

These times of challenge, change, and growth underline the importance of being able to engage across difference. People realize the false security that comes with only hearing similar views, of whatever stripe. In the face of destructive polarization, what is needed is constructive engagement. Building on our work since 2004 in education, training, and research, the Conflict Engagement and Resolution Initiative offers resources to meet this need. We provide tools and training, as well as insights into the theory and research supporting successful constructive engagement. Our purpose is to increase the capacity for communities on and off campus to constructively engage and learn from others who differ in identity, ideology, and life experience.

We envision communities where learning about and sharing our differences creates a richer path forward.

We offer three types of resources to communities, starting with our DU campus: facilitated opportunities for constructive engagement, trainings in tools to convene and facilitate with confidence, and places (virtual and in-person) for learning about supportive theory and research for how and when to use various tools in the most effective ways.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Divest DU is a student activist organization mobilizing to demand that the university divest all of its endowment funds from the fossil fuel industry, with the goal of creating a more ethical, sustainable, and responsible investment portfolio. Divest DU organizes educational and community-focused campaigns, events, and outreach to promote divestment from the fossil fuel industry and protect students’ futures in the midst of climate breakdown. In our work, we recognize the intersection between climate justice, racial justice, and social justice more broadly and are committed to centering equity in our work. We recognize that the impacts from climate change are not felt equally across communities, and that marginalized groups, in particular, communities of color and working-class folks, are often faced with the harshest consequences of climate change. Any and all programming hosted or promoted by Divest DU will center a lens of social justice and collective liberation. Through our grassroots activism, we aim to hold the University of Denver accountable to its vision of "a private university dedicated to the public good" through a climate justice framework. Promoting both education about climate justice and pathways of direct action is the focus of Divest DU as a student organization. As the leaders of Divest DU, we commit to being student leaders of environmental justice at the University of Denver.

We welcome undergraduates and graduate students of all skill levels, political affiliations, races, genders, sexual orientations, etc. We cover News, Opinions, Sports and Arts & Life. We are seeking writers, photographers, illustrators, videographers, editors and the like. None of those suit you? We need loyal readers to follow us on social and read our website!

No experience necessary! The Clarion is a great way to improve your writing, photography, etc. We are flexible. We meet at 6 p.m. in the Academic or Community Commons room 340. But if that doesn't work for your schedule, email duclarioneditor@gmail.com. We will send the weekly pitch list, so you can still contribute. If you're having a particularly busy quarter, feel free to take a few weeks off and come back to us another time.

This is a great resume builder, especially if you study things like media, journalism, film, writing, business, political science, etc. There are also paid positions available. If you work hard for us, you may get the opportunity to apply for a staff position or internship.

The DU Pollination Associations purpose is to engage DU students in pollinator-related advocacy activities on and off DU's campus; to push students towards improving pollinator health and collaborate with organizations who share similar goals in the greater Denver community; to have hands-on support of projects that increase awareness about the current state of pollinators, their importance to the community, and what can be done to improve ability to fill their environmental roles.
