Not just for students—staff and faculty are warmly invited! Let's go zero waste as one community.

We will provide food and drinks. We encourage you to bring your own cups, utensils, and other items to help us as we begin our zero-waste journey.

Since the 1950s, over 9.2 billion tonnes of plastic have been produced.
Plastic pollution now reaches every corner of the planet—oceans overwhelmed by plastic islands, wildlife entangled or ingesting waste, and millions of marine animals dying each year. Microplastics have even been found in our own bodies.
You might think recycling is the answer—but only 9% of all plastic ever produced has actually been recycled. It's clear we need bold shifts in our daily habits. Want to live more sustainably but not sure where to start?

This Earth Day on 22nd April, join us for an interactive workshop with experts from Eco-Cycle and Compost Colorado! Learn practical, hands-on tips for reducing waste, recycling right, and composting effectively. Start your zero waste journey with small, simple changes—and be the change you want to see in the world!
