Thrive's Spectrum: An Interactive Discussion

Spectrum is a large-scale event where students discuss about love, health, and sex through the fun style of YouTube's Jubilee Spectrum. A question or statement will be read to the participants, then they move to one of the five answer options (strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, strongly disagree) with coordinating lines on the floor. Once moved, students are encouraged to explain why they moved to these lines but are not required to speak. With this, students create a sense of community through these discussions as they unconsciously begin to destigmatize these subjects. Students can register for only one subject to participate in. There will be three rounds/heats (love, health, and sex). Afterwards, student can choose to debrief and continue to discuss with other students in a round/circle discussion.
IF ALL OPTIONS ARE FULL: Students can sign up to participate for the post-activity discussion if they wish to still be involved.
