Colorado Primary Republican Gubernatorial Debate at DU (Faculty/Staff/Student)

The University of Denver invites community members to attend the Colorado Primary Republican Gubernatorial Debates on June 2, 2026.

This public event provides an opportunity to hear directly from candidates, gain insight into the issues impacting Colorado, and take part in an important civic moment ahead of the upcoming election.

Registration closes on May 27.

Important Event Policies

To support a safe and secure experience, all guests will go through security screening upon entry.

Bag Policy

• Clear bags only, no larger than 12" x 16" x 4"
• Small clutches or purses allowed (max 4" x 6" x 2")
• Medical and baby supplies permitted but subject to search

Prohibited Items Include

• Outside food or beverage (including alcohol)
• Glass, aluminum containers, or water bottles
• Weapons, firearms, fireworks, or explosives
• Drones or laser pointers
• Large signs, flags, or banners (over 28" x 22") or those with poles
• Artificial noisemakers
• Bags that do not meet the clear bag requirements
• Any items deemed unsafe by Welcome Center staff
