Summer Faculty Writing Groups

Are you planning to work on a writing project (or several) this summer? Would writing in a supportive community help motivate you to make progress on your writing goals?

Writing Groups are flexible sessions where faculty gather to write alongside colleagues from across campus. In writing groups, we have a broad definition of writing. Work on a conference presentation, book proposal, grant application, or any scholarly, creative, or writing project that advances your professional goals. Faculty are welcome to drop in when your schedule allows; write for 30 minutes or the whole 3 hours!

Join us in the Faculty Lounge (CCOM 2800) or on Zoom for support and accountability, and enjoy FREE coffee, tea, and snacks while you write in person!

Participants in writing accountability groups report increased productivity, as well as a greater sense of community and belonging on campus.
