The chilly gusts of wind and piles of snow on the ground can only mean one thing, Winter Carnival is here! Register now on the official registration page for our various ticket pickups, including bus tickets to get up to Winter Park, ski lift tickets, and tubing tickets! There are also Winter Carnival categories for details regarding on-campus events.
Buses will take students up to Winter Park on Friday (early AM) and Saturday (early AM), and return students to campus on Saturday (evening) and Sunday (mid-day).

DU Food Pantry Will Now Be Open 2 Days a Week and is Accepting Volunteers Starting Tuesday February 4, 2025 the DU Food Pantry will be open 2 days a week! We are thrilled to create another opportunity for the DU Community to take advantage of what the DU Food Pantry has to offer! These dates include: • Tuesdays 3:30pm-6:30pm • Thursdays 11:00am-4:30pm Because of the increased availability of the DU Food Pantry, we are also opening the door for more volunteers during our business hours. Our Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, Mary Clark, will be stepping down from her position this summer when her successor can begin. DU has begun a national search to fill the provost position immediately and has formed a search advisory committee to help guide that work. Play This "Pashenat": Duets for Viols Zoe Weiss is a member of Lamont’s musicology faculty and an acclaimed player of the viola da gamba. She is a founding member of the ensembles LeStrange Viols, Science Ficta, and the Folk Baroque Trio. She has also performed with the Oberlin Consort of Viols, the Smithsonian Consort of Viols, the Folger Consort, and ACRONYM. On Baroque and modern double bass, viola da gamba, and violone, David Miller has appeared with groups such as the Handel and Haydn Society, Arcadia Players, Trinity Wall Street, Voices of Music, Music at Marsh Chapel, New York Baroque Incorporated, the Albany Consort, and Seven Times Salt. The program takes its title from an early English spelling of “passionate,” found in a performance instruction from Tobias Hume. More Info
