Attend the Designing the Grad Experience Workshop Session: PERMA & Energy on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 11-12:30 pm in CCOM 2600 where you can explore and apply models for well-being and map how you can best use your energy to make positive, incremental changes in school and in your life! GRA-TOT-TUDE POTATO CART

What are you grateful for? Join the Office of Student Engagement on a GRA-TOT-TUDE Potato Cart. Find us at one of these locations; Campus Green, Along Race Street, Outside Library and by the pond, outside Enginering building on Tuesday, November 14 from 11:00am - 2pm. ArtistiCO presents Fiestas Navideñas

Wednesday, Dec. 6 & Thursday, Dec. 7 (7:30pm-9:30pm) | Newman Center for the Performing Arts Kick off the holidays with a feast for the senses! Join Denver’s Latinx dance ensemble ArtistiCO on a tour of Christmas celebrations throughout the country of Mexico. Diwali Festival of Lights

November 12 | According to the ancient calendar, Diwali, the "Festival of Lights," is celebrated on Amavasya, the 15th day of the month of Kartik. In 2023, this joyous occasion falls on Sunday, November 12th. It's the most significant festival in India, celebrated with the illumination of homes using lamps, candles and more, creating a mesmerizing display of light and color. Families come together for feasts, gift exchanges, and sweet treats. Diwali represents the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil, making it a spiritually meaningful and magical celebration.

Learn a Language!

| Center for World Languages & Cultures, Sturm Hall Room 391H Do you need better language skills for your research? Is there a language you’ve just always wanted to learn? The Center for World Languages & Cultures' non-credit courses are open to graduate students. Some courses are offered online and others in person. Some courses are customizable with a one-on-one format. Current courses planned for Winter Quarter 2024 include: ASL, Amharic, Arabic, Burmese, Chinese, Dari, Farsi, French, German, modern Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Swahili, and Swedish. It's a time for reflection, learning, and acknowledging the profound legacy of Indigenous peoples that continues to shape our society.
