We have an important update regarding our Adobe licensing structure that will take effect starting October 1st, 2024, as part of our ongoing efforts to optimize software resources and provide efficient and cost-effective solutions for our community.
Beginning October 1st:
--Adobe Express (cloud-based content creation tool) will be automatically provisioned to all DU students. DU staff and faculty (including adjuncts) will need to request access to Adobe Express.
--Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (desktop PDF editing application) will be available only by request for DU students, staff, and faculty (including adjuncts)
--Adobe Creative Cloud (All Apps) will be available only by request for DU students, staff, and faculty (including adjuncts) who require vector and timeline manipulation tools.
If you are a current frequent user of Adobe Express, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, or Adobe Creative Cloud and need to keep your access on 10/1/24, please submit an Access to Adobe Request between now and 9/30/24.
If you do not submit this request, please note that you may experience a disruption or a lack of access to Adobe software on 10/1/24. For guidance regarding this form, please see How to Request Access to Adobe Creative Cloud.
As a reminder, if you incorrectly received notice that your Adobe licenses have expired earlier this week, you will not lose access in seven days; you have until the end of September to access your Adobe applications.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and your cooperation as we work to enhance our software resources. For a breakdown of the various Adobe products, please visit IT's Software Catalog. Please direct all questions to Information Technology’s Help Center. Best regards, Information Technology
