Subject: Study Abroad Themed Meeting this Week!
Hello everyone,
Hope you are having a great week 8! Just a reminder that we will be having our meeting at 5:00 pm in Sturm Hall, Room 333, this week instead of at 4:00. This week will also be a bit special because we will be talking about study abroad! I will be doing a short presentation about the process and some resources for scholarships, and Priscilla (who's going abroad this fall!), or I would be happy to answer any questions you have about the process to the best of our ability, or direct you to people you can! If you have studied abroad previously, we would also love to have you talk briefly about it if that is something you would be interested in. The goal of this week is really to be a resource for anyone who is looking to study abroad in the future, particularly in a German-speaking country, but also in other countries as well! So please bring any questions you may have, and we would love to see you there!
Side note: If you have any interest in being an officer, please reach out to Priscilla or me as soon as possible, as we would love for the club to continue, but we need officers to make that happen! It's a great resume booster, and no previous experience is necessary!

Hallo zusammen,
ich hoffe, ihr habt eine großartige 8. Woche! Nur zur Erinnerung: Unser Treffen findet diese Woche um 17:00 Uhr in der Sturm Hall, Raum 333, statt – und damit ausnahmsweise nicht um 16:00 Uhr. Diese Woche wird zudem etwas ganz Besonderes sein, denn wir werden uns mit dem Thema „Auslandsstudium“ beschäftigen! Ich werde eine kurze Präsentation über den Ablauf und verschiedene Ressourcen für Stipendien halten. Priscilla (die diesen Herbst selbst ins Ausland geht!) und ich beantworten anschließend sehr gerne – nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen – all eure Fragen zu diesem Prozess oder verweisen euch an die entsprechenden Ansprechpartner. Falls ihr bereits im Ausland studiert habt, würden wir uns außerdem sehr freuen, wenn ihr kurz darüber berichten würdet – natürlich nur, wenn ihr daran Interesse habt. Das Ziel dieser Woche ist es, eine hilfreiche Anlaufstelle für alle zu sein, die in Zukunft ein Auslandsstudium anstreben – insbesondere in deutschsprachigen Ländern, aber natürlich auch in anderen Teilen der Welt! Bringt also gerne all eure Fragen mit; wir würden uns sehr freuen, euch dort zu sehen!
Nebenbemerkung: Falls ihr Interesse daran habt, ein Amt im Vorstand zu übernehmen, meldet euch bitte so bald wie möglich bei Priscilla oder mir. Wir möchten unbedingt, dass der Club weiterhin besteht – doch dafür benötigen wir engagierte Vorstandsmitglieder! Es ist eine hervorragende Bereicherung für den Lebenslauf, und Vorerfahrungen sind dafür nicht erforderlich!
