Join the Office of Student Engagement for an additional training beyond Org 101 and take a deeper dive into topics like conflict, member recruitment/retention, delegation/motivation, teamwork and culture, and change and transitions.
We will share information that is helpful and then host breakout sessions to talk about the various aspects of leadership mentioned above.
Whether you are a current student organization officer or aspire to be one, this training will help prepare you for peer to peer leadership and provide a space to share and discuss current struggles your org may be navigating with the Office of Student Engagement Staff and members of DU Programming Board.
Don't forget it is a requirement for RSOs to have 25% or more of their members complete a Harm Reduction Workshop between now and the end of the school year.
Completion of one workshop counts toward the quota for ALL RSOs a student is a member of.
Reminder from the Business Office about P-Card Receipts:
Remember when your purchase includes a meal, please add attendee lists or counts as appropriate to PCard Receipt Submissions in Crimson Connect:
Meals with less than 10 attendees require a list of attendees to be added to the receipt submission
Meals with 10 or more attendees require an attendee count to be added to the receipt submission
RSO Handbook - Processes, Policies, Guidelines & More
If you haven't yet, we STRONGLY encourage you to bookmark and review the RSO Handbook. It covers the relevant policies we don't have time to cover during the Org 101 Trainings, including things like policies about chalking, playing music when you're tabling, and how to advertise on the digital displays in CCOM.
Webpage and PDF versions of the Handbook can be found in the "RSO Officer Quicklinks" section of the left-hand menu bar on the main CrimsonConnect homepage.
Org 101 Training - Recorded Sessions
Recorded sessions from the Virtual Org 101 Training are available!
These can all be found on the Org 101 Training page in CrimsonConnect as well.
REMEMBER: Before funds can be spent or P-Cards can be checked out, the person checking out the P-Card must have reviewed the RSO Finances Session and passed the Org 101 Finance Training Quiz for this year.
