Welcome to the 2025-2026 Academic Year
Dear RSO Officers (returning and new),
Welcome to the RSO Officer Newsletters. The Office of Student Engagement sends these out at regular intervals throughout the year (typically monthly) to ensure you're kept up to date on important information and deadlines for Registered Student Organizations.
We are so excited to start the 2025-26 school year off by bringing the required Org 101 Training back to an in-person format for the first time since before COVID! More details below.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your Summer Break and can't wait to welcome you back to campus!
All RSO Officers are invited to join the Student Engagement Team, Undergraduate Student Government, and the SAIE Business Office for our annual training on all the important things you need to know about running a Registered Student Organization at the University of Denver!
Presidents, VPs, Treasurers and anyone who will be making purchases on behalf of the RSO are required to attend.
Details of the workshop schedule can be viewed within the event page.
A make-up date with limited session offerings will be held in the early evening of Thursday, September 11th.
If your RSO plans to table at the annual involvement fair, please fill out this form, and hold 4:30-7:30pm on your calendars for now, to allow time for check in, set up, and cleanup before and after the fair.
We plan to bring the Involvement Fair back to Race Street and Dimond Family Residential Village Green this year from 5:30-7pm, and having an accurate list of organizations who plan to participate will help us immensely in mapping out the logistics for the fair.
Hosted by DUPB and Fraternity & Sorority Life as the wrap up to Discoveries week with a high-energy celebration of the Mile High City.
This event is open to ALL students and will feature laser tag, hamsterball soccer, a live DJ and Denver-Themed activities inspired by local landmarks.
RSOs not yet fully approved
NOTE: Below is a list of RSOs from whom we are still awaiting edits to re-registration documents or from whom we have not yet received anything.
If you also serve as an officer for one of the following groups or know someone who does, you can reach out to studentengagement@du.edu for clarification on next steps to ensure full approval before the start of the school year.
Full approval is required before funding can be requested or a table at the Involvement Fair will be reserved for the group.
