Student Study Weekend at KMC

Friday, Oct 23rd- Saturday, Oct 24th
Kennedy Mountain Campus

Escape to the mountains for a study experience unlike any other. Spend Friday night and Saturday at Kennedy Mountain Campus, where the crisp October air, towering pines, and quiet mountain setting create the perfect environment to focus, recharge, and prepare for upcoming exams and projects. Throughout the weekend, KMC transforms into a variety of study spaces, from cozy coffeehouse-inspired lounges and collaborative group work areas to outdoor study spots nestled among the trees and granite outcroppings. Meals are taken care of from Friday dinner to Saturday lunch so you can focus on studying. Whether you're looking for productivity, inspiration, or a break from campus distractions, Study Weekend offers the ideal balance of academic focus and mountain relaxation.

Join the Student Accountability Board (SAB)!

The SAB is made up of Faculty, Staff, and Student representatives who resolve elevated cases where Students may have violated Community Standards or University Policies. SAB members determine whether or not the Student is responsible for violating these standards or policies and, if they are found responsible, the status and educational Outcomes that will be assigned. SAB members can assign any status outcome:

• Written Warning
• Student Conduct Probation
• Elevated probation
• Suspension, or Expulsion.

Training will be provided. Please consider joining this important board.  To refer yourself, a colleague, or a Student, please complete the SAB Nomination form. Please send any questions to SRR@du.edu or call 303-871-5724.

Start Now to Study Abroad Next Year

The DU Abroad application for 2027-28 study abroad programs is open! A few reminders if you plan on studying abroad next academic year: - You must attend a First Step to Study Abroad session before submitting your application. - OIE offers drop-in advising Mon-Thurs 10-11am & 2-4pm in CCOM 3100. No appointment required, come by with general questions or if you need help picking a program or working through your application. - Haven't taken INTZ 2501 yet? Make sure to register for this required 2-credit course during Winter or Spring quarter. Application deadlines:

• December 1, 2026: Early deadline for all DUPP Summer 2027, Fall 2027,Winter 2028 and/or Spring 2028 programs
• February 1, 2027: Standard deadline for all DUPP Summer 2027, Fall 2027, Winter 2028 and/or Spring 2028 programs
