Nowruz

Nowruz

March 19
Nowruz, celebrated on the first day of spring, is the Persian New Year symbolizing renewal and the triumph of light over darkness. Families gather, wear new clothes and engage in traditional rituals, marking a time of joy and unity. Nowruz transcends cultural boundaries, emphasizing hope, optimism and the beauty of nature's cycles.

Student Employees and Supervisor of the Year 2024!

Every year, in recognition of DU’s 2,500+ student employees and their amazing contributions, the University coordinates an annual selection process to choose one undergraduate and graduate Student Employee of the Year, as well as a Supervisor of the Year! This year, we had 76 incredibly strong nominations, but after careful consideration decided on this year’s awardees. The Student Employment team invites you all to celebrate with us as we honor our Student Employees of the Year, Zainab Alikhan and Cole Young, and our Supervisor of the Year, Cindi Nagai!
