We will be offering the first Org 101 Session of the 2024-25 year on Wednesday, August 21st at 4pm (Mountain Time) over Zoom. This is the required training for RSO officers. Even if you were an officer last year, the training is required as some information changes year to year.
This year's training will feature 3 "Breakout Rooms" that will each be offered twice during the Training:
Running Your RSO & CrimsonConnect Overview
Required for Presidents, Recommended for VPs, Secretaries, Historians
RSO Finances: Requesting & Spending Money
Required for Treasurers & Authorized Spenders, Recommended for Presidents & Other Officers
Required Quiz must be passed before P-Card will be issued
RSO Event Planning, Guidelines & Policies
Required for Event Planners, Recommended for Presidents, VPs & Other Officers
If you are able to make this virtual training, please register in CrimsonConnect.
If you are unable to join us, we will be planning an in-person training in the Fall Quarter and also recording the Zoom breakouts and posting those on CrimsonConnect for your review.
RSO Officers and Advisors are invited to join the Student Engagement Team, Undergraduate Student Government, and the SAIE Business Office for our annual training on all the important things you need to know about running a Registered Student Organization at the University of Denver!
The Fall Involvement Fair will be on Sunday, September 8th from 3-5pm, in the Community Commons and on Campus Green.
We are expecting to have all of our awesome RSOs in attendance so that our incoming first year and transfer students can find out about all of the ways to get involved on campus.
Please register your organization for a table using the QR Code or link below before noon August 30th (if you do not register, we cannot guarantee you a table). Your group will be able to arrive and check-in at the table in front of the Global Kitchen/Grand Forum between 2:00 and 2:45pm. You will then be directed to your table.
Please also make sure your RSO has completed the Re-Registration for the 2023-24 year (list below of groups who have not completed), including making any required edits to the documents that you submitted. Only approved RSOs will be permitted to host a table.
We look forward to seeing you all back on campus!
Questions about the Involvement Fair? Please reach out to Tanner Anderson at tanner.anderson@du.edu.
The following RSOs have modifications to their Re-Registration Materials that have been requested by USG or the Student Engagement team, that mean's we're waiting on YOU to submit those requested edits.
The person who submitted the application will need to check the "Chat" in CrimsonConnect for details about what is missing, or any officer of the group can reach out to usgorgs@du.edu and studentengagement@du.edu for clarification.
