Housing and Residential Education (HRE) at DU is excited to open the Resident Assistant (RA) application process for the 2021-2022 academic year. Each RA works on a residence hall floor to help build community among 25-35 residents by planning events and serving as a resource to other students. All undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply! ÔÇ»

Student Dart Workshops
We’ll make it simple: we want to hear from you. As a current DU undergraduate student, your perspectives, insights and experiences are invaluable. You are the reason we exist, and by better understanding what motivates and inspires you, we’re able to ensure DU continues to evolve and grow to meet your needs, and the needs of those who will follow in your footsteps.
Join us for one of four virtual, interactive workshops on February 9-10 to help us learn more about what makes our students unique, and what attracts them to the University of Denver.
In return for your time and honesty, each workshop attendee will receive a $20 Starbucks gift card. In addition, we’ll be randomly selecting one attendee from each workshop for a $125 gift card to the DU Bookstore!
This isn’t a focus group—it will involve looking at personality types, thinking about and discussing DU’s student body with your fellow students, a little bit of writing, and working in a small group. All that is to say: it should be fun and engaging!

This year, the University of Denver’s Diversity Summit turns 20! As we look forward to celebrating our progress over the last 20 years, COVID restrictions and the multiple national engagements toward racial justice have given the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and the Diversity Summit Steering Committee the opportunity to re-imagine the summit. In 2021, rather than a 2-3 day event, the Diversity Summit will take place over seven weeks. Each week will include a series of conversations, panels, workshops and lectures designed specifically for the DU community.
We're bringing back Pleasure Packs and offering "Plant Some Love" craft packs as part of Love+Sex+Health Week! You can pick from a customizable Pleasure Pack with safer sex supplies and/or self care items. We're also working with the Center for Sustainability to give away 50 "Plant Some Love" craft packs as part of our Feb 11th drop-in program where we'll talk all things from relationships to self love. Reserve your order today! Supplies are limited.
All the fun of a scavenger hunt with prizes and the nostalgia of cute yellow rubber duckies!
The Office of Student Engagement has hidden 50 rubber duckies around the Community Commons (you will NOT need to climb on any furniture or move any structural things like ceiling tiles to find them). Some of them are "hidden" in plain sight, and some may require you to do a little extra exploration of the new space.
Once you find a duck you can bring it's attached post card to the Community Commons Welcome Desk on the first floor (near Rollin' and Bowlin') to exchange for a prize (plus you get to keep your duck). 5 of the ducks will be tagged as "Lucky Ducks" and will receive an extra limited edition prize, but you won't know if the duck you found is lucky until you turn in the card.
The Clarion is the official student newspaper of the University of Denver, serving as the community’s voice. Read some of the highlights from our publication this week:
