Hockey Night Lights, is back and better than ever! This year on Campus Green!
Grab your friends, bring a tent, and spend the night with DUPB for your ππππ‘ππ at winning a Golden Ticket (season tickets to DU Hockey).
There will be food, s'mores, outdoor and indoor activities, recreational games, a late night movie and so much more!
Check-in begins on Friday October 9 at 10:00am on Campus Green (look for our tent!). In order to participate in the campout process, please form groups with fellow students according to the guidelines listed below:
1) Find a group of friends and a tent to fit you (a group size of 3-6 is the perfect πΏπ²πΎππΆπΏπ²π± number)! This group will become your official Hockey Night Lights Crew.
2) Designate a Crew Captain. This will be the one person who is responsible for communications between your Crew and our DUPB Team, check-ins throughout the night, and should be keeping an eye out for emails with important information regarding the campout. Everyone else in the group will be designated as Crew Members. Make sure to only register as either a Crew Captain or Crew Member.
Crew Captains also need to fill out this form: https://cglink.me/2fC/s95800
3) Enjoy Hockey Night Lights and watch for more incoming information!
Basecamp has a variety of tents, sleeping bags, and pads to camp out in comfort! 3 to 4 person tents are available along with camp chairs and lights to boost your aura.
Use the discount code: HockeyNightLights for 50% off in person and online orders! (Orders will be refunded 50% upon pickup when you mention the code).
Show off your DU Spirit with the OneDU Week Spirit ScavHunt!
October 12–18 | OneDU Week
Introducing the OneDU Week Spirit ScavHunt: a week-long team competition where you'll explore campus, show your DU spirit, make some questionable creative choices, connect with other DU Students, and earn points along the way.
Here's how it works, in 5 easy steps:
Build a team of 3–6 people (maybe you have a team already - looking at you Hockey Night Light tent Crews!)
Complete challenges throughout One DU Week (Oct 12-16).
Earn points for your team.
Submit photos, videos & evidence as you go.
Win bragging rights as DU's ultimate Spirit ScavHunt champions (and maybe some DU Swag).
Some challenges will take five minutes; others might require a little creativity, and you get to choose your strategy. Will you go all-in on DU history? Or become the ultimate Crimson & Gold Team? Maybe you'll chase every challenge, make the best video, or simply collect as many points as you can weherever you can.
You don't have to do everything. You just have to be creative.
Once your team is registered, we'll send you the daily challenges each morning throughout One DU Week - only one person needs to register each team, but that person will be the one receiving the daily challenges and thus will be responsible for gathering the team to complete the challenges together!
Be creative. Be spirited. Be respectful. Be safe.
OneDU Week is October 12–16. Full challenge list, scoring and submission information will be provided to registered teams.
