Where Colorado House of Representatives candidates stand on college issues

"For students at these universities and colleges, positions on policy issues such as climate change, college affordability and gender and racial equality will greatly influence which House of Representatives candidates gain young voter support. Such issues are at the forefront of societal conversations for college-aged voters, especially given continued involvement in political activism."

Amy Coney Barrett will not dramatically change the Supreme Court

"Amy Coney Barrett. A conservative judge who studied law and taught at Notre Dame. The mainstream narrative is that on Sept. 26, she was appointed to help overturn Roe v. Wade, remove the Affordable Care Act and create a path forward for the Supreme Court to decide the 2020 presidential election."
"Clubs are established for the enjoyment of students, but they also serve a much greater purpose in the DU community. When you are new on campus, having a space to make friends and connections is invaluable."
DU does not observe Indigenous People's Day on Monday, October 12, but The Clarion would like to do so. There will be no virtual meeting next week. Announcements + pitch list will be sent out through email.
